Since being a very young child, I have been interested in dog training and behaviour plus keeping all manner of pets. As an adult I spent 10 years or so as a dog training instructor and behaviourist, running my own classes in 3 different towns and also doing private sessions during that time. I also spent 4 years as a dog warden for a local authority until health problems put paid to doing all that. I have several qualifications - Understanding the Canine/Human Interface with the Animal Care College, City & Guilds in Canine Studies Level 2 and also a Diploma in Animal Behaviour through J.C Biology. Apart from my animal interests I also like making beaded jewellery, swimming, reading, music and playing computer games.
I also spent 7 years as a fully trained moderator with AOL taking care of lots of different message boards and chat rooms along with lots of other volunteer moderators. We were a very happy band but then AOL became so commercial and changed hands and did not have a place for moderators who helped to community build as well as ensure that it stayed the nice family ISP that it purported to be so I left.
